Our Village Hall

Lower Slaughter Village Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed building, located on the banks

of the River Eye. It was built in 1887 for the village by the Whitmore Family and used

originally as a Reading Room. Over the years it has gradually become used for different

community activities.

Running for several weeks between Easter and the early autumn, a variety of Art

Exhibitions are held in the Hall by groups of talented local artists who exhibit their own

art and craft work.

The Village Hall is available to hire, has a fully equipped kitchen and is licensed to host

up to sixty people seated or one hundred standing. If you would like to enquire about

availability, please contact Ann Classen at annclass@yahoo.com
